Ambassadors

We are looking for volunteers to become ambassadors for their hall. This involves promoting the campaign and encouraging your peers to save energy and recycle wherever possible. It's a great opportunity to build new skills, meet new people and you will be making a real difference to sustainability on campus. Ambassadors are crucial to the campaign's success so we would love to meet you at our interactive volunteer training session...

Training Date

Monday 22nd October, 3-4.30pm

Room location TBC

Free Fairtrade Student Switch Off t-shirt for all registered attendees!

You must be living in Ancaster, Cavendish, Cripps, Derby, Florence Boot, Hugh Stewart, Lenton & Wortley, Lincoln, Melton, Newark, Nightingale, Rutland, Sherwood, Southwell or Willoughby to be an ambassador.

What skills do I need?

No technical knowledge is needed as full training will be provided – we just need enthusiasm and a passion for sustainability. The role involves speaking to large numbers of students so confidence and communication are great skills to have, but you will be able to build these up throughout the project.

You will only need to dedicate a few hours each month, which will be completely flexible around your studies and extra-curricular activities.

Please register for our training session or contact rachel.soper@nus.org.uk if you have any questions.
