Nottingham Confucius Institute (NCI) is offering up to 15 scholarships for UoN/NCI students on the 2024 Spring camp to China.

The Spring Camp to China programme is an opportunity to visit China and explore Chinese culture, history and landscapes while learning and practicing Mandarin in a real-life setting. It will take place from Sunday 7 April to Friday 19 April 2024.

Organised by the NCI, the programme is delivered by Fudan University in Shanghai with support from UNNC. Successful candidates will attend Mandarin lessons and cultural experience activities at Fudan University and also visit sites of historical and cultural interest in Shanghai, Beijing and Ningbo.

The scholarships will cover all relevant expenses within China, such as accommodation, meals, transport within China, Mandarin language lessons, cultural workshops, excursions and city tours. Flights to China, insurance and visa costs, etc. Will need to be covered by participants. Terms and conditions apply.

Please note that participants must have sat for an HSK 2 Test or higher (you can register and take your HSK test at the NCI testing centre if needed).
