Want to develop your academic, communication and language skills? Book onto an Academic Language and Communication Skills course (ALACS) now.
There are 15 general courses available to help you develop your skills and become more confident in your studies. These include:
- Academic Vocabulary Skills, helping you broaden your vocabulary
- Effective Academic Reading, helping you develop techniques for speed reading and extracting relevant information
- Academic Writing: Planning an Assignment, helping you plan and hone your coursework writing
- Understanding Assessment and Feedback, helping you understand assessment tasks and make the most of feedback
The courses will run from Monday 27 January until Friday 27 March 2025.
