Nominations for the Lord Dearing Awards are now open.
The Lord Dearing Awards have been running since 1999 and recognise the exceptional contributions made by university staff to the student experience.
Supported by Lord Ronald Dearing, the university's fifth Chancellor, the awards have honoured hundreds of individuals, teams, schools and departments over the years.
Who can be nominated?
Any staff member, team or faculty school or department that you believe has made a significant impact on your experience can be nominated in one of the following categories:
- Individual Award
- Team Award
- Excellence in the Learning Environment Award for faculty schools or departments
Who can nominate and what happens after nomination?
You can nominate one or more individual or team. Once nominated, nominees can choose whether to proceed with an award submission application. Submissions are then reviewed by interim and final panels to determine award outcomes.
Nominations close on Friday 29 November and awards will be conferred in the summer of 2025.
