Friday, 29 January 2021
We will be celebrating LGBT+ History Month virtually for 2021 following the national theme of ‘Body, Mind, Spirit’.
The university is committed to supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) for staff and students. We aim to increase visibility of LGBT+ people, their history, lives, and experiences, promote their welfare, and increase inclusion.
A programme board of staff and student volunteers have put together a rich calendar of central events and we have also funded local projects at the university.
We’d like to encourage everyone to get involved, join our celebrations and share details of the programme within their respective areas.
