The upgrade will take place from 9.30am, Monday 18 December until 12 noon, Tuesday 19 December (UK time). Moodle will be completely unavailable during this time.

The new version of Moodle will introduce a new look and layout for menus and buttons, improving usability, while retaining a level of familiarity.

The updates will not have any impact of the content of Moodle of the way in which you use it – you'll just notice that things will look a bit different, and some menus and buttons might not be where you used to see them.

Watch the video below to familiarise yourself with the changes. If you’ll be submitting assignments via Moodle once the upgrade has completed, information about how to do this is available at 6 minutes 42 seconds. Detail on Turnitin assignments is available at 8 minutes 5 seconds.
