We understand that sometimes you may be unable to use your pre-booked study space due to circumstances out of your control. To help increase availability of individual library study spaces at short notice, you will be asked to ‘check in’ from Monday 8 March.

Check in to your pre-booked study space within 30 minutes of the start of your booking to confirm your space. Any spaces that haven't been checked in within this time will be automatically released for others to book.

In line with the latest government guidance, we ask that you only visit our libraries when essential, for example if you don’t have access to appropriate study space elsewhere.

How to check in

1. Visit the Click and Study Check-in page or scan the QR code displayed in the space
2. Select ‘check in’
3. Enter the check-in code from your booking confirmation email and click ‘check in’ to confirm

Haven't received your check in-code? Your check-in code is included at the top of your confirmation email. If you haven't received your email, please check your Clutter/Junk/Other folder. If your email still hasn't arrived, please contact Library staff.

• Booked back-to-back sessions? Please check in at the start of both sessions
• Running late? You can check into your space from anywhere – simply use the link in your email or the above instructions
• Leaving before the end of your booking? Check out using the same web address and code

Please note, anyone not following the Covid-19 essential safety measures will be asked to leave the library and will be unable to book study space for seven days.
