Online registration is open

Online registration is now open for new students with a course date of Monday 21 September or earlier.

If you’re looking for information on online registration for returning students, please read this article.

As a new student completing online registration, you must first activate your IT account. You should now have received an invitation to the email address you used to apply for your course (view an example of the email here).

If you have not yet received an invitation to activate your IT account, please take the following steps:

  • Check your course start date – you will not receive the invitation any earlier than three weeks prior to your course start date
  • Check your junk/clutter folders
  • Have you made any changes to your course with Admissions? If so, there may be a slight delay to you receiving the account activation email

If you are still unable to find the email and you think you should have received it, please contact registration@nottingham.ac.uk.

Once you have activated your IT account, you will be able to apply for your student card (you will need a passport-style JPG) and access University systems, including online registration.

You can register online via MyNottingham, but you will need to use your new IT account and password, and not the eight-digit username and password you used for your University application.
