Services on campus may close or operate reduced opening hours over the winter break.
The autumn term finishes on Friday 15 December and the spring term starts on Monday 15 January.
The university will close completely from Friday 22 December until Monday 1 January, reopening on Tuesday 2 January.

Facilities on campus will experience reduced opening hours during this time and may close for some of this period. Continue reading for a helpful list of adjusted opening hours for key services on campus.
Hopper buses
There will be no hopper bus services on any routes from Saturday 23 December to Monday 1 January inclusive.
903 and 904
From Saturday 16 December – Friday 22 December and Tuesday 2 January – Sunday 14 January inclusive these services will operate on the non-term timetable.
901 and 902
These services will see no changes and continue to operate on their year-round timetables.
906
This is a term time only service, so there will be no buses running on this route from Saturday 16 December – Sunday 14 January inclusive.

Accommodation
Staying on campus over the winter break? Welcome points will be open Monday – Friday, 8am-6pm until Friday 22 December when a duty manager will be available at Welcome Point Central. They are contactable by phone on 0115 748 7600 between 8am and 4.30pm.
Catering
Catering outlets on campus may close or operate reduced opening times over the winter break.

ResX
ResX will be around for wellbeing support through the winter break and is contactable on 0115 748 7600 (option 2) or at ResX@nottingham.ac.uk.
The team will not be working on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day. If you require assistance on those days please speak to Security, or reception if you're in self-catered accommodation off campus.
Sport Centres
Jubilee Sports Centre will close on Friday 22 December and reopen on Tuesday 2 January.
Sutton Bonington Sports Centre will close on Saturday 23 December and reopen on Tuesday 2 January.
David Ross Sports Village will close on Saturday 23 December and reopen at 11.45am on Wednesday 27 December. The centre will then remain open until 3.30pm on 31 December when it will close until 6.30am on Tuesday 2 January.

Student Service Centres
Student Service Centres will remain open until 2pm on Thursday 21 December when centres, live chat and virtual appointments will close for the winter break.
All services will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January.

Libraries
Libraries will enter vacation opening hours from Saturday 16 December before closing completely on Friday 22 December until Tuesday 2 January.
George Green, James Cameron-Gifford and Djanogly Learning Resource Centre will temporarily reopen on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December before closing again until Tuesday 2 January.

Security
The university's Security service provides a 24-hour uniformed presence on all campuses.
