To ensure you can receive payments from the University it is important that you provide your valid, UK bank account details.
This can be done via the Finances section of the MyNottingham web application.
Providing your details
New students — You will need to provide your bank details via MyNottingham and enrol in Direct Deposit.
Continuing students — Your bank details, if previously provided, should still be present in MyNottingham. Please check the Finances section, ensure your bank details are correct (or add them if they are not there) and enrol in Direct Deposit.
Remember that you can log in to the MyNottingham web application using your University username and password. If you are a new student and you haven't activated your IT account, you will need to do this first.
For full instructions on how to provide your details please see the Adding a Student Bank Account guide.
Once you have entered a valid UK bank account and enrolled into direct deposit, you will, where eligible, automatically receive payments from the University, including scholarships, stipends and bursaries.
What if my bank details change?
If your bank details change, it is important that you update MyNottingham with the correct information as soon as possible.
Providing incorrect details could mean payments to you are delayed or not received.
Having problems entering your bank details?
If your 6 digit Sort Code is not recognised or listed when trying to enter it in the 'Bank Code' field, please contact the Cashiers team.
If you continue to have problems entering your bank details just get in touch with one of the Student Service Centres for support.
