Volunteers are wanted to help develop a memorial walk in the woodland area next to the Millennium Garden on University Park Campus.

This is the beginning of a special project to create a beautiful space where we can remember members of our community we have lost.

Work will continue throughout the year; we are now looking for volunteers to help during February and March.

Work will likely include scrub clearance, creating habitat piles, creating footpaths and bulb planting.

• Meeting point - fountain in the Millennium Garden
• Work to take place on Wednesday 7, 14 and 28 February; Wednesday 6, 13 and 20 March 
• Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear such as boots or wellies
• Bring gardening gloves if you have them, there may be a limited number available to borrow if you don't have any although this is subject to availability
