The Nottingham Confucius Institute is offering 15 scholarships on the 2026 Spring Camp to China programme taking place at Fudan University.

The programme is an opportunity to visit China and explore Chinese culture, history and landscapes while learning and practising Mandarin in a real-life setting. Successful candidates will attend Mandarin lessons and cultural experience activities at Fudan University and also visit sites of historical and cultural interest in Shanghai and Beijing.

The scholarships will cover expenses such as accommodation, meals, transport within China, Mandarin language lessons, cultural workshops, excursions and city tours. Flights to China, insurance and visa costs will need to be covered by participants. Terms and conditions apply.

Please note that participants must have passed an HSK Test and obtained their HSK Level 1 or higher certificate by November 2025.

The trip will take place Saturday 11 April - Thursday 23 April 2026. The deadline to register your interest is Friday 25 July 2025.
