As we move into online teaching, the University’s pastoral and support services also move online.
Below is some useful information about the main services you may wish to access, but you should check the coronavirus webpages for a full breakdown.
If you are required to self-isolate, please make sure you complete the self-isolation form.
Student Services
All of our Student Service Centres are now closed but you can still get all of the usual support online.
The best way to do this is to complete the Student Services enquiry form.
Library services
Libraries have created a Libraries Support Hub, which features lots of useful resources, including access to eResources, such as eBooks and eJournals.
It also includes links to training for Microsoft Teams, and information about what you do (or don’t) need to do if you have books checked out.
Counselling service
Consultations are now moving to telephone-only, and appointments are held 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. Contact details can be found on the University Counselling Service webpages.
We’ve also put together a webpage full of useful advice for looking after your mental health and wellbeing while practising social distancing.
Careers and Employability Service
The Careers and Employability Service are now offering careers appointments and skills workshops remotely via MyCareer. If you have a quick query, you can use the ‘Ask a question’ feature.
