Halls

Catering within dining rooms will remain open for eat-in service in line with previous dining times. In addition, complimentary evening snacks will be available 9-10pm in the following areas from Thursday 5th November:

• Willoughby Hall, University Park
• Rutland Hall, University Park
• Derby Hall, University park
• Hugh Stewart Hall, University Park
• Café Terrazzo, Jubilee campus
• First floor of The Barn, Sutton Bonington campus 

Social Areas

All dining rooms will now open 24-hours per day, with the exception of Cripps which will close at 11pm. This is to increase social space in addition to marquees and JCRs.

When using these areas, please remain seated in households, wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. If you do not adhere to restrictions, these areas may be required to close.

Alcohol Service

The new guidelines mean that the alcohol ordering service recently offered in dining halls will not be available from Thursday 5 November.

To replace this, the online Tuck Shop will offer an alcohol and food ordering system available on a pre-order and collection basis. Orders must be collected from the door for consumption in a dedicated social area.

This service will be available 7 days a week from Saturday 7 November and collection will be available from the following locations:

• Derby Hall (12-4pm and 6-9pm)
• Hugh Stewart (12-4pm and 6-9pm)
• Willoughby (12-4pm and 6-9pm)
• Mooch bar, Portland Building (12-3pm and 5-9pm)

The following places remain open on a takeaway only basis:

• Spar 

Jubilee Campus

• Café Terrazzo Pizza
• Spar 

The Orchard Hotel will offer food and bar service for takeaway and room service at 3-9.30pm.
