Nottinghamshire Police have indicated that the hubs will have to shut if restrictions regarding social distancing and noise are not met.

The marquees offer those in halls alternative places to socialise as households and have been installed to increase the amount of space available and avoid large numbers of people in any one area. They include music, games and activities that households can enjoy together, in-keeping with government restrictions.

Music played through speakers will now be switched off at 10pm to avoid any disturbance to local residents. 

Like any building around campus, please follow guidance from security marshals as well as signage advising users on health and safety measures. This includes wearing face coverings, maintaining social distancing and ensuring good hygiene practice.
