The autumn term finishes on Friday 13 December and the university will enter winter break opening hours. Services on campus may operate on reduced hours, or close completely.

Normal service will resume with the start of the spring term on Monday 13 January.

Hopper buses

Services may vary between Saturday 14 December and Friday 20 December.

There will be no hopper bus services between Saturday 21 December and Wednesday 1 January. From Thursday 2 January services will vary until the return of normal timetabling on Monday 13 January.

Please note, all sport centres will close on Wednesday 8 January for staff training.

Libraries

Our campus libraries will enter vacation opening hours on Saturday 14 December.

Libraries will close completely Monday 23 - Thursday 26 December, Saturday 28 - Sunday 29 December and Tuesday 31 December - Wednesday 1 January. 

On Friday 27 December and Monday 30 December George Green, Djanogly LRC and Hallward Library will open 9am - 5pm.

On Wednesday 2 January all libraries will reopen to vacation opening hours until the start of the term on Monday 13 January.

Student service centres will close for the winter break at 2pm on Friday 20 December.

The live chat service will reopen at 10am on Thursday 2 January and all centres will reopen to in-person enquiries at 9am on Monday 6 January.

ResX

ResX Wellbeing are available to provide support over the winter break and are contactable on 0115 748 7600 option 2 or ResX@nottingham.ac.uk. This covers Saturday 21 December to Thursday 2 January and working hours are 2pm until midnight.

There will be no one available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. If you need any support on these days, please speak to your reception team or UoN Security on 0115 951 3013.
