Device Standards
From Wednesday 8 May 2024 the Device Purchasing and Management Standard will come into effect for all new purchases of specific IT equipment. All IT equipment ordering must now be made according to the IT Device Management Process.
DTS recommended standard equipment
The table below sets out the IT equipment normally issued according to where an employee is contractually based. This sets out DTS recommended IT equipment for home working. In the instance where local budgets do not accommodate a new monitor and docking station for each member of staff for home use, departments are advised to prioritise equipment for those who require reasonable adjustments and allocate equipment to those who need it most for their work (including second hand hardware).
