Updating your software

How to keep your devices secure using the latest software.

 

 

If you are a student, don't delay installing security software and app updates on your computer, phone or tablet. Install updates as soon as they are available to keep your devices secure.

If you are a member of staff: 

  • Restart your device that is on or off campus at least once a week
  • When off campus, connect your University device to the Virtual Private Network once a week for two hours

If you have trouble downloading or installing updates on any of your devices, contact our IT support teams.
