Message to our colleagues and students on International Women's Day

Inspirational - EDI BlogFV

We would like to send you all our very best wishes in recognition of International Women’s Day 2020. We have exciting programme of events in both Malaysia and Nottingham, involving external guests and friends alongside many members of our staff and student community. Celebrations for Ningbo staff and students are, sadly, unable to proceed due to the impact of Covid-19 on campus, staff and student activities.

However, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise the brilliant contribution that our women staff and students make across all our campuses. Our amazing women colleagues make a real difference to many lives, through their teaching, research, leadership and participation.

Wherever our women staff and students find themselves on Sunday 8 March 2020, we would like to say a big thank you. Everyone is in our thoughts, and we wish you all health and happiness on this international day of celebration.
