With state-of-the-art facilities and allied expertise across materials and chemical imaging, compositional analysis, and nanofabrication, the nmRC provides analytical services across the university and commercially. 

Nottingham Drives Specialist Services (NDSS) is an independent business unit wholly owned by the University of Nottingham. Working closely with industry, NDSS delivers services to support the industrialisation of power electronic converters, electrical machines and drives across the automotive, aerospace, industrial, marine, rail, and energy sectors.

Working across specialisms including geohazard monitoring, spacecraft engineering and avionics, and intelligent transport systems, we have expertise in geospatial science, engineering surveying and remote measurement, positioning and navigational technologies, and propagation effects on GNSS.
