Mayfest 2011 - an event for alumni and the community

Date(s): Saturday 7th May 2011 (11:00-17:30)
Description: English Studies invites you to find out about the origins of your surname, investigate life and literature in the Viking Age, try some creative writing, and explore the work we do with local communities, running sessions on Nottingham writers including D.H. Lawrence.

Time: Just drop in 11.00am-5.30pm to enjoy a range of activities.
Also 1.30-2.30pm: Younger visitors can find out all about Viking gods, storytelling, and myth, before trying some creative writing of their own.

Location: Atrium, C floor, Portland Building
