Malena Wong, Leah Rafferty, Beth Bridges
The School is proud to announce the success of three English students, who have received prizes in the Nottingham Advantage Awards:
- Malena Wong (BA Hons English, final year) has won the Leadership Prize, supported by Mars
- Leah Rafferty (BA JT Hons English and History, final year) has been Highly Commended for the High Performance Prize, supported by Accenture
- Beth Bridges (BA Jt Hons American Studies and English, final year), has been Highly Commended for the Enterprise in the Community Prize, supported by EY
Reflecting on her award, winner Malena commented that it “has been an incredible part of my growth at University. I developed leadership skills, practised creative problem-solving and mastered working as a team. It was a uniquely rewarding experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with different people on multiple projects.”
We would also like to extend our congratulations to three English students who were shortlisted for prizes:
- Phoebe Chipchase (BA Jt Hons English and History, final year) - shortlisted for High Performance Prize, supported by Accenture
- Lois Wentworth (BA Hons English, final year) - shortlisted for High Performance Prize, supported by Accenture
- James Thomas (BA Jt Jons English and Beginner's Spanish, final year) - shortlisted for Vice Chancellor's Global Graduate Prize
