Staff and students from the School of English Studies are running a charity book sale and cake sale in December to raise funds to pay the cost of a teacher's salary at Upendo Junior School in Kenya. This is a school run by Masibo Lumala who completed his PhD in 2007. All staff, students and visitors to the School are invited to A35, Trent Building to buy books and cakes to help the School raise these funds.
