The School of English congratulates Honorary Lecturer Jon McGregor on being shortlisted for the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award 2012. The award is one of the most valuable of its kind and the this year's prize will be for a book first published in English during 2010. Jon is shortlisted for his novel, Even the Dogs. We wish him the best for the announcement of the winner on 13 June.
Jon will be appearing at Lakeside Arts Centre's Djanogly Theatre on 22 May 2012 to perform stories from his new collection, This Isn't The Sort Of Thing That Happens To Someone Like You. Click here for more information about the event.
