Jon McGregor has been awarded the prestigious East Midlands Book Award. Jon, author and Professor of Creative Writing in the School of English, won the award with his collection of stories, This Isn't The Sort Of Thing That Happens To Someone Like You.
The East Midlands Books Award is organised by Writing East Midlands (WEM), a writer development agency for the East Midlands which supports and creates opportunities for writers in the region.
