The School of English Studies is seeking to appoint a lecturer in teaching and learning English as a second/foreign language. The sucessful candidate will supervise, teach, and mark across a range of English Language teaching/second language acquisition topics.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area of English Language and Applied Linguistics. They should also have English language teaching experience. A proven track record in publishing in one or more of the following areas: second language acquisition, bilingualism, English language teaching methodology, or second language assessment is essential as is the ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Selection Process
Long-listed candidates will be asked to provide items of research for consideration by the School. The interview process will include a research and teaching-based presentation and a formal interview.
