The School of English is seeking to appoint a lecturer in teaching and learning English as a second/foreign language. The sucessful candidate will supervise, teach, and mark across a range of English Language teaching/second language acquisition topics.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area of English Language and Applied Linguistics. They should also have English language teaching experience. A proven track record in publishing in one or more of the following areas: second language acquisition, bilingualism, English language teaching methodology, or second language assessment is essential as is the ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on our live and distance programmes.

Selection Process
Long-listed candidates will be asked to provide items of research for consideration by the School. The interview process will include a presentation and formal interview.
