Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Early English Studies (Middle English)

Applications are invited for the above post based in Middle English in the Medieval section of the School of English Studies.  Candidates must have a PhD, (or be very near to completion), as well as notable research outputs and potential. They should have core specialist research and teaching expertise in Middle English language and literature. Experience of both writing and teaching MA distance learning materials will be an advantage.  This full-time post is available from 1 January 2011.

Salary: £32,620 to £43,840 per annum, depending on skills and experience (salary can progress £50,822 per annum, subject to performance)

Selection Process
Long-listed candidates will be asked to provide items of research for consideration by the School. The interview process will include a presentation and formal interview. Interviews and presentations will be held on Tuesday, 26 October 2010.
