Lord Dearing Award for Teaching Excellence

The Lord Dearing Award Scheme has, since 1999, recognised the outstanding achievements of University of Nottingham staff in enhancing the student learning experience.

The School of English Studies is delighted to announce that Dr Neal Alexander and Professor Norbert Schmitt have both been awarded a Lord Dearing Teaching Award in 2011. 

Previous winners of the Lord Dearing Award from the School are Dr Joanna Robinson and Dr Matthew Green in 2010, Dr Gordon Ramsay in 2008 and Dr Peter Howarth in 2005.
