Description

Come along to this short session to develop your understanding of open access, and practical steps you must follow to make your thesis, and any subsequent publications, available this way.

By the end of the course you will:

  •     understand the University's expectations for open access to your thesis
  •     feel confident exploiting options for achieving OA without infringing copyright
  •     understand the benefits of OA for research outputs
  •     be able to find and make a full use of OA repositories and databases

The course is primarily intended for PhD students, however, members of research-active staff may also benefit.
