Michela Mariani’s research, ‘Disruption of cultural burning promotes shrub encroachment and unprecedented wildfires’ has received a huge amount of media attention in the UK, New Zealand and Australia (online news, radio and TV). The article World-first research confirms Australia's forests became catastrophic fire risk after British invasion (theconversation.com) has been listed as the #1 read within the University of Nottingham since Jan 2022 and is also in the top 5% of all research outputs ever tracked by Altmetric (updated 19 February 2022): read the paper here, along with a further article from Nature magazine.
Martin Danyluk was interviewed for an article in The American Prospect called ‘The Hidden Costs of Containerization’.
John Morris co-authored a piece (with Karina Patricio Ferreira Lima, School of Law, University of Leeds) that has been published as part of a Symposium on Inflation on the Law and Political Economy Blog. The title is ‘Monetary Power and the Core-Periphery Dynamics of Inflation.’
