Elaine Watts recently represented the School of Geography at the British Cartographic Society (BCS) 60th Anniversary Conference at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Cambridge.
This event provided Elaine the opportunity to highlight the work the school and the university does to leading organisations involved in cartography and GIS. It also involved a GIS training hackday using BAS flight data to create a range of outcomes. Following this event Elaine will be hosting a visit by the BCS Map Curators Group to our map collection.
