British Cartographic Society Conference Success

The Nottingham City Projection Augmented Relief Model (PARM) won the Garsdale Design Award for 3D Cartography at the British Cartographic Society Conference on Thursday 5 September. The PARM was also judged to be the overall winner across all five categories of awards.

The PARM was created by Dr Gary Priestnall from the School of Geography working closely with the GIS team at Nottingham City Council and the City as Lab initiative on the University of Nottingham’s new Castle Meadow campus.
