Specialist midwife Anna Kent has been awarded a Graduate Laureate from the University of Nottingham for her overseas humanitarian work with the aid organisation Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Anna graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2003 with a Master of Nursing Science, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery in 2010 and has returned to the University to teach on various modules over the past four years. In her acceptance speech, Anna recognised the valuable contribution that her time at the University and School of Health Sciences had made to her career, particularly the invaluable clinical skills she acquired in her time at the University.
Anna also took some time to offer some valuable advice to the latest cohort of nursing graduates from the School of Health Sciences.
