School Research Fellow Chosen for International Programme

Dr. Kathryn Hinsliff-Smith, Research Fellow in the School of Health Sciences, will be travelling to Cairo to participate in the 'British Council Researcher Links' research programme held at Helwan University. The five-year programme, created to encourage international research collaboration between ambitious researchers from the UK and eighteen countries across the world, invited applications from leading researchers and academics. Kathryn will be the sole healthcare representative and one of only two representatives from the UK's Russell Group of Universities.

Dr. Hinsliff-Smith commented: 'It's a great opportunity to represent both my field and the School of Healthcare Sciences at such a prestigious international workshop and I'm looking forward to engaging with researchers and academics to explore opportunities for building long-lasting research collaborations.'
