Call for participants to a workshop on "Evidence-based practice in a global context: building sustainable communities of practice"

 

Under the British Council and FAPESP Researcher Links scheme we will be holding a workshop on “Evidence-based practice in a global context: building sustainable communities of practice” at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil on 10-14 February 2014. 

The workshop is aimed at health researchers who are interested in evidence based practice and the global challenges of translation of evidence into healthcare practice. The workshop is being coordinated by Professors Heather Wharrad from the UK and Cassia Soares, and will have contributions from other leading researchers Dr Fiona Bath-Hextall, Dr Stephen Timmons from the UK, and Dr Diná de Almeida Lopes Monteiro da Cruz and Dr Luiza Akiko Komura Hoga from Brazil. 

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK or Brazil to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
