Ingenuity is the University’s entrepreneurship competition open to all University of Nottingham undergraduates, postgraduates, alumni and early stage researchers. Applications for the competition are currently open.

The competition offers entrants the opportunity to take a new initiative through a variety of development events in order to submit an outline business plan and financials. The top 20 entries will be invited to a pitch in the semi-finals followed by the final pitch event for the top 5. The competition will culminate in a prize ceremony in the Great Hall, where winners will have a share of a £100,000 prize fund.

The winner of Ingenuity15 Oliver NG, Surgeon and Founder of NUHCLEUS software said: “Ingenuity prize has given NUHCLEUS  the opportunity to build beyond the confines of my own healthcare background I met people from an array of backgrounds all of whom have contributed their experience and enthusiasm to the process. This has helped me conceive NUHCLEUS more as a self-sustaining and profitable business rather than just an innovative idea. The competition was the catalyst for our next stage in development.”

The deadline for submissions is midnight on Wednesday 17 February 2016. For further information and to regsiter visit the Ingenuity16 webpage
