New e-learning package to explore the sepsis care bundle

Collaboration between the School of Health Sciences and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, with funding from Health Education East Midlands, has resulted in the new release of an interactive, scenario based e-learning package to explore the NICE guidelines for recognising and managing sepsis in people aged 12 years and over.

Developed by the University of Nottingham Health E-Learning and Media team (HELM), a previous iteration was released in 2015. In a three month period the first iteration was accessed by 978 users from 71 countries over six continents.  The newly released package now encompasses the application of the NICE (2016) guidelines for recognising and managing sepsis.
