Second Pop Up Cafe Project Launched

Following on from the success of the first pop up cafe which took place on 25 November 2014, a second event is due to take place on Thursday 26 February 2015.

The aim of the project is to provide free hot drinks and a listening ear to the general public in areas where there is considerable social deprivation. The cafe allows student healthcare professional to experience interaction with individuals in the community outside of the healthcare environment and to cultivate an understanding of the life experiences of the vulnerable members of society.
