School of Health Sciences Celebration Event

An event to celebrate the continuous achievement of the School of Health Sciences was held on Monday 2 February 2015 to mark the following:

• Lord Dearing award plaque unveiling
• Charter for teaching and learning unveiling
• The school's recent success in the Research Excellence Framework 2014 (REF) results
• Senior fellows Higher Education Academy (HEA) successes

Unveiling Ceremony

The Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning Alan Ford with the Assistant Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning Wyn Morgan and a small group of staff and students were invited to witness the unveiling of the Lord Dearing award plaque and Charter for teaching and learning in their new home in the School of Health Sciences reception.

This was followed by a public event in the Medical School foyer with speeches from Alan Ford, Wyn Morgan and our head of school, Patrick Callaghan.
