Current Research

Investigation into the development of critical thinking during nurse education. The main aim of this research thesis is the development of assessment and teaching tool that will aid teachers in practice.

Past Research

Electronic submission and management of assessment via WebCT. This was a multi-centred project that investigated the student and lecturer reaction to the introduction of electronic submission into post registration courses. The general findings are now being discussed within the school for future action. The application and development of a learning hub within an educational centre, what are the pedagogical considerations? This study was based on the introduction of a learning hub and interactive white board within the centre in Derby and the manner in which teaching and learning practices altered.
