Recovery Research Team Administrator, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
I am the team administrator for the Recovery Research Team. I have worked in administration for many years and also have a passion for the field of mental health, recovery, wellbeing and social inclusion.
I have worked one-to-one with clients in substance misuse settings as well as undertaking courses in counselling skills, awareness of mental health problems and peer mentoring. I am also a trained group facilitator for UK SMART Recovery, which helps support people to change destructive behaviours though self-management and CBT techniques.
