Who is taking part?

Overall, 180 premature infants (born at less than 32 weeks gestation) and their parents will take part in the study.

We will be recruiting parents and their premature infants from 5 different neonatal units including those at:

• Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
• University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
• Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Parental participation in this research project is entirely voluntary and parents are free to withdraw from the study at any time, without giving a reason.
