If you have a problem please go through the following route of escalation:

  • ensure you have read the available documentation
  • ask a work colleague (particularly applies to postgrads)
  • consult HPC Support (see Contacts)
  • also consider the local on-line forums

When submitting a problem to HPC Support please try and provide the following:

  • the nature of the problem
  • errors you are seeing
  • the nodes your job was running on
  • errors on the screen or in appropriate log files
  • where you are running the job from and where you are reading/writing to
  • the location of your submission script
Please retain relevent files, and give us as much information as you can to help us diagnose the problem.
