All catering staff are responsible for reporting to the Head of School/Department or designated person, if they are aware that they have been in contact with, or are suffering from, an infectious or notifiable disease as specified in the current Food Hygiene Regulations.
If you are a member of the Catering Staff who has come into contact with a notifiable illness, including dysentery, or is suffering from a bowel infection, sickness or diarrhoea, or have septic cuts or sores, you must NOT work in the kitchen or dining room. You must stay away from work until cleared by your own doctor or the Occupational Health Unit.
