Sickness

If an employee on a fractional contract is sick this will need to be reported, even if this is outside of their working weeks. Therefore, sickness during designated and non-designated working weeks should be reported in the same way as any other member of staff.

For long-term sickness, the employee should submit a "statement of fitness for work" until the period of sickness comes to an end. Fractional staff will continue to receive the same sickness entitlements.
