The University aims to ensure that staff are rewarded and recognised for excellent performance and contribution to the University that goes above and beyond normal expectations.

This section details the rewards available to staff, via the Nottingham Reward Scheme and the Long Service Awards.

Nottingham Reward Scheme (Important update - February 2024)

Whilst the University remains committed to recognising the continued hard work and contributions from colleagues, please note that after careful consideration, the Nottingham Reward Scheme has been temporarily paused as part of a cost-saving exercise, which will be reviewed towards the end of 2024 considering the financial position for the 2024/25 academic year.

For more information on how to view and redeem any unspent NRS points, colleagues can log into the Employee Hub and visit the ‘Nottingham Reward Scheme’ page.

Long Service Awards

Long Service Awards are given to any member of staff who has completed 25 and 40 years' continuous service with the University.
