Placements
The Human Rights Law Centre (HRLC) offers students at the University of Nottingham various opportunities to get involved in projects and events of the centre throughout the year.
These positions provide students with an opportunity to work, on a voluntary basis, in a world renowned academic human rights centre, gaining valuable experience to complement their studies.
2024/25 Placements
This year, the HRLC is offering the following placements:
- International Criminal Justice Databases
- International Human Rights Reports
- Scholars at Risk – Student Advocacy Seminar

Application procedure
If you are interested in applying for a placement, please complete the application form that is linked in the role description document. Each application requires a 500-word statement of interest, outlining why you are interested and why you would be suitable for the role.
It is possible to apply for up to two positions, however students can only undertake one placement within an academic year.
