Archaeology postgraduate conference 2015

The Department of Archaeology's postgraduate students look forward to hosting their annual conference on University Park. The event invites 14 students to discuss thier specific research topics which include:

• Out of the Shade: An archaeobotanical investigation of charcoal and seed assemblages from the 'Dark Age' rural site of Dando Close, Wollaston, Northamptonshire.
• Belonging and belongings in the land of Boudica
• The glass production and trade in the early islamic Persian Gulf

The event that is attended by colleagues and staff across the University provides a great platform for postgraduate students to present the key research themes that they encounter in the Department of Archaeology.
