- Missing your classmates?
- Want to get to know other students in your department better?
- Fancy meeting online with some other students for some socially distanced studying together?
- And some fun?
Yes? Then sign up to our very popular scheme to find yourself a Study Buddy!
The Study Buddy scheme aims to match you with other students based on similar academic interests to help you engage with the University’s different social and academic communities. You’ll have the opportunity to meet other students online and discuss your interests, experiences and course topics and support one another through the Spring semester. Due to current government restrictions, physical group meetings are not permitted.
You can sign up to the Study Buddy scheme here. Once you fill out this form, you will be matched in small groups (around 4 students) based on your academic interests. You will be put in email contact with each other, where you will be asked to introduce yourself over email to your group. There will also be a Study Buddy Team that will be open for all those who sign up for the scheme. On this Team you will be able to chat with others, ask questions, or “meet” with other buddies. Once you sign up to be a Study Buddy, you will be sent the Teams joining code.
Sign up to the Study Buddy scheme.
Sign-up will close on Sunday 7th February at midnight. You will be informed of your new buddies and added to your Team the week commencing February 8th. If you’ve previously been in the Study Buddy scheme, you do not need to sign up again, unless you would like to be allocated to a new group.
Please note this is for students in the Faculty of Arts only. Please email Arts-ese@nottingham.ac.uk with any queries.
